FULL DEVOTIONAL #2 — Strength for the Journey

Scripture:
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength…” — Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

There are seasons when your strength feels like it’s running out.
You may feel pressed on every side, tired from daily responsibilities, or stretched by the challenges of life. But even when you feel weary, God never expects you to walk in your own power.

To “wait upon the Lord” doesn’t mean doing nothing — it means trusting Him, leaning on Him, and expecting Him to show up in the middle of your situation.
And the promise is clear: He will renew your strength.

Like a gentle wind that lifts the wings of an eagle, God can lift your spirit.
When your legs feel weak, He can steady them.
When your heart feels low, He can breathe life back into it.
When you feel like giving up, He whispers, “I am with you.”

Strength doesn’t always come all at once — sometimes it comes little by little.
But God always gives exactly what you need for every step of the journey.

Prayer:
Lord, renew my strength today. Lift my spirit, steady my heart, and help me keep walking by faith. Amen.
