Scripture:
“And he arose, and rebuked the wind… and there was a great calm.” — Mark 4:39 (KJV)
Storms come in many forms — worry, fear, uncertainty, sudden challenges, heavy news, or unexpected changes. Sometimes the waves seem too strong and the winds too loud. But even in all of this, Jesus remains the One who speaks peace over every storm.
The disciples panicked during their storm, but Jesus never does.
He stands above the waves.
He holds authority over every wind.
He walks in perfect calm even when everything around us feels chaotic.
And when He speaks, the storm must bow.
The waves must settle.
The winds must stop.
If your heart feels troubled today, remember:
Jesus hasn’t left your boat.
He sees every wave, and He knows exactly how to bring calm to your situation.
Speak His Word, call His name, and rest in His presence — for where He is, peace will always follow.
Prayer:
Lord, speak peace over every storm in my life. Calm my heart, quiet my fears, and cover me with Your presence. Amen.
